Become a Master Gardener

Master Gardener Training

Our application period for 2025 will open on April 30 and close July 7.  Training classes are held each Wednesday evening, 7 - 8:30 pm, on Zoom from August 13 through November 5.  Orientation is on August 6.  Some in-person workshop trainings are held on Saturdays during the training period.  There are minimum attendance requirements, reading and video watching assignments, and open-book quizzes.  The cost of the course is $185 with some non-refundable fees. After successfully finishing training, Interns are required to give 50 hours of volunteer work at our NNEMG educational programs and activities.  Reach out to us through our Contact Us page if you’d like someone to call you with more information or answer your questions about becoming an Extension Master Gardener.
