Eagle Scouts at Grin & Grow

On January 23, 2021, Eagle Scout Candidate Steven McWithey, supported by fellow scouts, parents and troop leaders, led his project to install a 75 by 15 foot walkway connecting the existing Grin & Grow Learning Garden to the adjacent Native Tree Grove. Steven is a member of Boy Scout Troop 306 of York County. The scouts installed 248 linear feet of steel edging and moved a total of 13.5 tons of stone dust to the new and existing garden paths.

Additional support for the project was given by Superintendent of Landscape Services with the NN Parks & Recreation and Tourism Department, Douglas F. Kennedy.
